Excellent edge work and agility help in tight areas, top speed needs work to be able to transition with the puck on his stick at the NHL level

Passing/Handling:

Passing is excellent, a real highlight of his game, handles the puck well

His shot is solid but not spectacular, is aided by a deceptive release

Very smart player, skates impeccable routes both offensively to find space and defensively to beat his check to pucks. Sees everything on the ice allowing him to find teammates in the slot often

Very active forecheck, not afraid to engage with larger opponents to fight for pucks

A very good back checker, sticks to his checks and shoulder checks relentlessly to make sure he knows where his opponents are, will engage large players

IQ, sees the ice very well and anticipates plays

North/south foot speed may limit him ay higher levels
