LENNI HAMEENAHO

Scout: Puneet Sharma

Skating:

Improved straight-line speed and acceleration in recent seasons, addressing earlier concerns.

Not explosive but moves with efficiency and good balance.

Skating is solid enough to keep pace, though not a game-breaker on foot speed.

Passing/Handling:

Reliable passer with smart decision-making in creating plays.

Shows flashes of slick puck skills and the ability to make pinpoint passes.

Plays a well-rounded game with solid puck control, rarely making costly turnovers.

Shooting:

Lethal shot, particularly accurate and quick release from the wing.

Has proven to be a consistent goal scorer at the pro level in Liiga.

Could increase shot volume to become more dangerous offensively.

IQ (Vision, Anticipation, Panic/Poise):

Plays with high hockey intelligence and strong situational awareness.

Reads plays quickly and makes smart choices with and without the puck.

Calm under pressure; rarely panics even in tight spots.

Forechecking:

Aggressive and involved; uses his instincts to pressure defenders and create turnovers.

Not a physical forechecker but smart positioning helps him disrupt plays.

Shows good willingness to chase the puck and force opponents into mistakes.

Defense:

Shows defensive maturity beyond his years with good positioning and awareness.

Responsible in his own zone, contributing to team defensive structure.

Uses smart angles and stick work to compensate for average physicality.

Could improve his physical engagement in board battles and along the wall.

Best Asset:

Combination of a lethal shot, offensive instincts, and a strong hockey IQ.

Effective at both scoring and setting up teammates, making him a dual threat.

Biggest Concern:

Skating is solid but not elite; could limit his ability to consistently create separation.

Physicality and strength remain areas for growth, especially in North American pro hockey.

Top Tier/Role Potential:

Potential top-six winger with goal-scoring ability and two-way responsibility.

Justification for Top Tier Assessment:

Fits well as a complementary offensive piece who can chip in defensively.

If skating and physicality continue improving, could be a consistent producer on the power play.

50th Percentile Tier/Role:

Middle-six winger with some secondary scoring and penalty-killing ability.

Justification for 50th Percentile Tier Assessment:

This may be the more realistic outcome but he can be a reliable depth piece who can contribute offensively but limited ceiling without further growth.

He may need to carve out a niche role depending on team depth and usage.

Stylistic Comparable:

Comparable to a smart, two-way winger like Marcus Foligno or Brandon Tanev, but with more offensive upside.

Not a pure speedster but uses hockey sense and shot to influence the game.

Scout: Tony Robinson

Skating:

His skating is no record but above average, speed is more than adequate

Passing/Handling:

Passing and handling significantly above average

Shooting:

Great shooting always looking for a shot.

IQ (Vision, Anticipation, Panic/Poise):

Vision is excellent, IQ and Anticipation are impeccable able to find open pockets of ice to get his shots or passing to teammate. Did not see much panic, wiling to wait to get better shot

Forechecking:

Saw some forechecking great at this age

Defense:

He played some defense and more than just the stick checking, willing to hit a little

Best Asset:

I would say his IQ willing to wait and get off shots

Biggest Concern:

Worried BASH could be low. His size leads me think he can do do it just sure if it will be as big of part of his game as it could be.

Top Tier/Role Potential:

Tier 1, could be top six power forward and power play specialist.

Justification for Top Tier Assessment:

Willingness to wait to get shot, passing and forechecking

50th Percentile Tier/Role:

tier 3 3rd line, spot power play

Justification for 50th Percentile Tier Assessment:

May end up playing on outside of zone.

Stylistic Comparable:

Patrik Laine

Scouts Final Thoughts and Additional Stats/Info:

Could be awesome power forward with some BASH. Could be like a gentler Matt Tkachuk

Games Scouted:

ASSAT v TPS, USA v FIN
